The Kingswood-Shaughnessy sits at the edge of Vancouver's most esteemed residential neighbourhood, First Shaughnessy, an area reminiscent of New York's Central Park West, London's Mayfair District, or San Francisco's Nob Hill. Within a block are the Meinhardt Fine Foods gourmet grocery store, the Arts Club's Stanley Theatre, an impressive assortment of retail shops and restaurants, as well as several tiny art and antique galleries.
